Palisades Collection complaint
Palisades does not follow through on their end. They filed a suit again me with out warning on a 6 year old debt from AT&T. When i found out i immediately called them to take care of the situation.

We agreed on a settlement however they never sent the paperwork like they were supposed to. i was then served.

I called again. they had no record of my first call. We settled again. they didn't send paperwork. I called again. They kept transfering me. Finally said they would send it.

I am still waiting to receive paperwork so i can mail payment before agreed due date in one day. They also have not canceled the court date that they were supposed to cancel when we agreed to payments. They said they can't cancel it until we send the paperwork back and make our first payment. But i haven't received the paperwork yet.

Palisades has one of the worst reputations in the industry. They secure judgments by subterfuge. They promise one thing and then get a judgment when you don't show up for the court date. NEVER believe a word they say. NEVER trust their attorneys to do the right thing. They are the lowlifes of the industry and I just beat them in open court last month. These cretins have so many sub-entities like Resurgent, Capital, Wolproff and Abrahams, Mann Bracken and it goes on and on... That you don't have a chance once they get you involved in the collection process. They’ll send you interrogatories then settle under one name then get a judgment under the other.

Best advice is to respond to any court summons you get (Make sure you send certified mail to the Courts, keep all receipts!!) then dispute it or settle it in front of a judge. ALSO bring any documents you can find on the Internet that supports your claims that they are scumbags. There are many, too many to name just do a Google search or go to Budhibs.com, Credibility for them is zero.

ok, so my Providian account was charged off at 10,000. Now Palisades wants to settle for 6k and I have the letter that has the settlement amount and states that they will mark it paid in full with the credit beaurus. Has anyone received the letter, paid it then Palisades didnt remove it from their credit rating within 60 days?

Thanks!!
