Palisades Collection complaint by Joy7austin
SO I just pulled my credit report and have NEVER seen or heard of this company. Palisades is reporting for "Citibank" whom I have NEVER had an account with. I have done my research and noticed that mostly everyone else's complaints are through AT & T or some sort of wireless service.

Currently I have attempted to call Several times and this is what happened:

1st: Got hung up on!

2nd: On hold for over 21 minutes - Finally got through to a supervisor (Christen). She requested my social several times, which I failed to give her. While continuing to go back and forth on hold and off. Because I refused to give her my social she said she could not help me. She suggested that I file a dispute. Which is what I am doing now!

Good luck to everyone else!

Joy - Texas

Palisades please get you legal documentation together before coming after me. Because I'm so ready. I promise you will be paying me a large sum of money. lost of wages, mentally destressed, forcely accused, and wrong identiyy.

so when you show up in court next week be prepared to get counter sued. I'm ready are you.

I have read several compliants about Palisades and they all are correct. Palisades you should stop trying to get innocent people to pay back money that they have no idea what the *** you are talking about.

You seel lemon Cars then want the customers to pay for them after they break down. You say that you try contacting people when you really haven't. Foe example you state you contacted me several times and I have ignore your letters. Be for real my address that you have is a totally different state, I've been living here for the pass 14 years. have been working on the same job for 9 years. After all the time I wasted going back and forth to court your dumb *** company realize that am not the person. Same name but different birth dates and race. Wow get it together Palisades your messing with people money.

:grin

I know the laws regarding credit, statute of limitations, and the verification and validation they are required to make. In my case, CITIBANK never responded to my certified letter for request of verification and validation, sent certified mail (return receipt) several years ago. I've pinned the Palisades a-holes in a corner with every violation under the sun.

I don't even think this company has a legitimate business license. I'll be willing to bet Palisades doesn't have possession of any original credit card applications with bona fide signatures from old outstanding CITIBANK debts. They are required by law to have in their possession the original signed note. If they don't have it, then they're especially committing MAJOR FRAUD.

I'm preparing a counter-action against their ***. I've already got a good attorney. If anyone is interested in filing a class action, let me know. I would love to make this company beg on its knees for mercy.

I have also been targeted by Palisades for a Citibank account that I have never had. I had never heard of this company until a guy showed up on my door step and gave me papers stating I am being sued. The account they are refering to doesn't even show on my credit report!!

The phone number to Palisades Collection, LLC is 1-866-230-8094 and their fax number is 610-758-9781. I just called them today to check the status of a dispute item on my credit report that does not belong to me. Needless to say, I was polite, but I guess they felt they could get nasty with me. However that was a bad move on their part because when I'm done with them, they will know my name.

File a dispute and contact the state attorney general. Collection agencies hate to hear from Attorney Generals offices. She did give you good information though, dispute. Never had an account w/Citi, sure? They have a lot of affiliates, and with factoring, buying and selling of debt, one of the fastest growing businesses, sometimes they will post an old cancelation fee, something minor, or that you paid off, on cr. bur. report. File dispute w/3 major cr bureaus, but do some research, might be something old and forgotten. How to deal w/collection agencies, good source is www.answersfordebt.com E book, or National Foundation of Credit counseling, www.nfcc.org.

Biggest fear of collection agencies, and way to get collection agencies "moving" = your states Attorney Generals office. Maybe call her back and say you have this letter you are about to mail to the state capitol,,,,,,,,,,,though they may identify your account by way of ss num., but maybe they will try a little harder if you are about to mail that letter.
